Singer LeAnn Rimes wanted to thank her friend and counselor Roger, who had been there for her in some of the toughest times of her life, by giving him the indoor-outdoor kitchen he had always wanted. We were thrilled to help create a space where Roger would enjoy hosting all his loved ones and treating them to his culinary creations.

DESIGN HIGHLIGHTS
A LITTLE PIZZA HEAVEN
A proper Italian kitchen had to have a proper pizza oven, which was one of several features this outdoor dining and cooking space featured. We clad the back with gorgeous cedar, which will weather perfectly in the Southern California sun, and he won’t have to scrimp on ingredients with that massive double refrigerator below.
FAMILY TRADITION
Roger learned to cook from his dad, whose photo LeAnn made sure to include in this gorgeous, all-black renovated kitchen. The view is made possible by pocketing sliding doors, so now Roger can easily move between his indoor and outdoor spaces while he carries giant pots of boiling water.
SLIDE ON IN
Roger had his laundry space in his kitchen, and food and dirty laundry definitely do not go together. LeAnn had the idea to install a new laundry space in the hallway, complete with sliding barn door, so husband Darryl can easily drop off additional loads as Roger works on his collars and cuffs.
