Emma Roberts’ honorary Aunt Mela (aka Aunt Moo) has been a part of her life for as long as she can remember. Not only did Mela help raise her alongside Emma’s mother, but she rescues animals, creates wigs for cancer patients, and does everything in her power to help others.
Recently though, Mela moved into a new house that was poorly renovated and lacked character and charm. So, Emma teamed up with us to surprise Mela with a custom kitchen transformation that will provide her with an eclectic space to enjoy.

DESIGN HIGHLIGHTS
Green With Envy
While Mela did previously have a breakfast bar, there was so little leg room, it barely got any use. We extended the peninsula to add in more room for seating and painted the cabinets her favorite shade of green.
Made to Last
The last time Mela tried to do renovations, the floors took some damage. Now, she has durable white oak hardwood that can withstand anything she or her many rescue animals throw at it.
Tea Time Treats
The first thing Mela does when she has guests over is offer them a cup of tea. We created a custom tea and coffee station so that whenever Emma visits, they can both easily grab their favorite beverages.
