Help Drew and Jonathan Raise Money with Habitat for Humanity Just by Playing This Mobile Game

Did you know that you could make a real difference in the world just by playing the Property Brothers Home Design mobile game? That’s right—by playing the game, you’ll help raise money to build new homes to be purchased by real families all over the world who need a safe place to live. This April, Drew and Jonathan are teaming up with Habitat for Humanity International and game developer Storm8 to make a huge impact, and they need your help!
Starting at 12:00 a.m. local time April 4th and ending on April 7th, Property Brothers Home Design mobile game players can participate in the “Home Is the Key” event, which is being held to raise funds to build real homes alongside families in need of a safe, decent, and affordable place to call home. Players will join Drew and Jonathan on a virtual Habitat build site, completing 15 steps to build and design a townhouse. For each player who completes the full event, Storm8 will donate $1 to Habitat for Humanity, up to a total of $15,000.
The mobile game will center around constructing a townhouse in a Los Angeles neighborhood. (And the townhouses featured in-game are actually inspired by a real Habitat build in the Holmes Project!) Players will work alongside a character named Michael, a contractor who first learned his trade as a volunteer. You’ll construct the home together from the ground up—from the foundation to the windows, siding, and landscaping, to adding the finishing touch of an outdoor community dining table. The game is not only about construction and design, but also the importance of community and the lasting impact of having a safe place to call “home.”
